Farm-To-Table Fine Dining in McKinney, TX
Welcome to Harvest Seasonal Kitchen, where community, sustainability, and delicious food come together. Since opening our doors on September 18th, 2014, we have been on a mission to connect diners with the vibrant North Texas food community and make a lasting impact on our local economy.
At Harvest, we believe that supporting local businesses is key to building a strong community. That's why we source almost all of our food within a 150-mile radius, working closely with farmers, ranchers, and artisans in the area. Our menu changes four times a year, reflecting the seasonal abundance of our region and ensuring that every dish is made with the freshest ingredients available.
But it doesn't stop at the food. Our commitment to sustainability extends to every aspect of our operation. From the bar, which features predominantly Texas-made liquor and beer, to our own farmhouse-style brews crafted using local grain, malt, and honey, we strive to showcase the best of our region. We embrace a nose-to-tail and root-to-stem philosophy, utilizing every part of the animals and vegetables we receive. This not only minimizes waste but also helps us lower our carbon footprint.
We take pride in supporting local artisans and businesses. Our tables and booths are handcrafted by a nearby artisan, and the walls of our restaurant feature artistic prints of the farmers we work with. Even the flowers on our tables come from a nearby flower farm. We believe that by strengthening these connections, we create a unique dining experience that celebrates the beauty of our community.
The Grand Hotel and Ballroom is the perfect destination for out-of-town visitors looking to experience McKinney's charm while dining at Harvest Seasonal Kitchen. Located in the heart of McKinney, this hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay within close proximity to the local dining scene. With its well-appointed rooms and attentive staff, The Grand Hotel ensures a restful and enjoyable stay.
Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond the dining experience. We've established our own organic farm, Water Boy Farms, which supplies our restaurant with flowers, microgreens, produce, and honey from our 24 beehives. Kitchen waste is composted, and field trips to local producers educate our staff on the journey from farm to table.
We know that our impact reaches beyond our kitchen and bar. To expand our reach and make a powerful change, we established the Harvest Seed Project Foundation. Through this initiative, we bring like-minded individuals together, exposing them to our mission and fostering a sense of community.
Join us at Harvest Seasonal Kitchen, where every bite you take supports local farmers, every sip you enjoy embraces our region, and every moment you spend here helps us build a stronger, more sustainable community. Together, we can make a difference.
